Exchange, Returns and Refunds
Please note if you are making a purchase with Alankaara, it is assumed you are aware and have gone through our policy. All products/purchases are treated as per the policy listed below.
All our products are handcrafted by traditional artisans in India, resulting in each product being unique and slightly different from one another. Since natural stones, beads are organic in nature (no plastics for us, you or the planet), they may vary slightly.
Since each product is exclusively handmade with immense care and love, WE DO NOT OFFER MONETARY REFUND, OR OFFER EXCHANGE FOR AN ALTERNATE PRODUCT, WE ONLY OFFER CREDIT NOTE. If you wish to exchange your item for an alternate product, we suggest that you return it to obtain store credit and purchase the new item separately.
- Since the resolution and colour composition of each computer monitor varies, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the colours of the products displayed on our website. Hence any return/ exchange on these criteria will not be accepted.
- We do not offer exchange for an alternate product in case the customer doesn’t like the product(s). If you wish to exchange your purchase for an alternate product, we suggest that you return it to obtain store credit and purchase the new item separately.
- If any of the products delivered has a genuine quality/manufacturing defect, is broken/damaged, or a wrong product is delivered to you, please write to us email@example.com. Please ensure you take an unboxing video of the package before opening it. We will send a replacement or issue a credit note.
Any complaint reported after 24-48 hours of delivery won't be accepted
- Once your return is approved our team, will share the return guideline with the shipping address. Please self ship the product to us. The maximum timeline for self shipping return is 10 days from the date of return approval. Any returns received beyond the 10 day period shared in the email will not be accepted.
- To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags as always, and in its original packaging along with the box and other materials we had sent to you, to prevent any loss or damage to the product during transit. Any product received damaged in transit will be sent back to the customer at their expense and No Credit Note will be issued in such cases. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
- Return request to be raised within 24-48 hours from the delivery date by writing an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
- Any returned item received by us that does not meet the above mentioned conditions will not be accepted, and will be returned to the customer at their expense.
- If the returned product(s) meets all the criteria for return, then we will be glad to issue you a Coupon Code worth your product value. Forward shipping charges will not be reimbursed.
- A Refund Coupon is valid only for a month from the date of issue.
- Credit note cannot be combined with any other ongoing offer / coupons / gift cards on the website.
- Coupons cannot be converted into refunds.
- No extension is offered on credit note period. Please utilise the same before it expires.
- A Coupon can be used for a cart value equivalent to the value of the coupon.
- A Coupon cannot be split into different amounts.
- Coupons are non- transferable.
- Products purchased under any promotional offer/ End of season sale/ Flash discounts cannot be exchanged/ returned. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item before placing your order.
- We don't accept returns on vintage - Afghan & Lambhani jewellery, as they are antique one of a kind pieces that have lasted the test of time and hence may have certain marks, cuts, dents etc which cannot be considered as defects.
- We don't accept returns on products bought with credit note. In rare circumstances a return on the same will be accepted. In such a case, the customer is to ship the product to us.
- Please note that all personalised, custom-made and made-to-order products are made just for you, at your request, hence we don't accept returns on them.
- No returns/ exchange on 92.5 silver jewellery.
